Sinopsi: Dorothy (Judy Garland) es una joven que vive en la casa de sus tíos en Kansas. Cuando un tornado atraviesa la región, la casa de la joven es absorbida con ella dentro. Cuando el huracán termina, Dorothy descubre que ha aterrizado en un mundo extraño y maravilloso, Oz, donde existe la magia.
